THE SOMEONE STORY
A shapeshifter with a serious case of self-identity issues thinks his/her’s problems can finally be solved after a lucky encounter with another, more mysterious shapeshifter.
The Someone is a Sci-Fi fantasy set in an ordinary world.
Where lonely Jack, a shape-shifter with an identity crisis, meets Vince, a much more successful shape-shifter that agrees to teach Jack better ways to use his power and to overcome his painful identity-crises. However, Vince quickly shows his true colors and double-crosses Jack in the worst way possible. Jack learns a whole new power -- to one-way body swap -- in order to defeat his new nemesis. Left alone again with his debilitating mental illness, he impulsively body swaps into a newborn baby -- where his memories are wiped clean and he gets a blank slate to start all over.
The premise is how someone so powerful can waste it so miserably and still be a failure. It’s almost comical.
The Someone is a unique Sci-Fi like Looper, with Bruce Willis, and has powers that have already been seen in films. Such as the shape-shifting Mystique in X-Men, and the one-way body swapping is perfectly depicted as an evil spirit that possesses bodies in Fallen, with Denzel Washington.

The Someone has already caught a small cult following on the internet quickly after the short narrative was released on YouTube. Currently sitting at just under 200 thousand views and climbing, fans are eagerly and patiently waiting to see how Jack’s story unfolds. This IP will do extremely well upon its release and distribution based on the current success of the low budget short narrative through only word of mouth and discussions on internet forums.
